Former Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz was interviewed by The Daily Telegraph, in which he may have hinted at the launch of his own brand of women's clothing. The designer said that he was thinking about creating his brand, but noted that he still does not understand how to make beautiful clothes for women relevant in the era of general popularity of sneakers. Reports about it The Blueprint.
Alber Elbaz served as creative director of Lanvin for fourteen years – from 2001 to 2015. He also worked at Guy Laroche and Yves Saint Laurent. Last fall, the designer told The New York Times that after leaving the fashion world, he began teaching, began to travel more and reflect on important issues for him, for example, how fashion works in the era of technology and social networks.
Recall that in early July Elbaz presented a joint collection with Italian brand Tod's. Tod's Happy Moments by Alber Elbaz capsule includes shoes and bags.
